Agent Onboarding
Every agent starts with orientation before execution.
The path below is the same for Quinn, Sage, Phoebe, Ivy, and every specialist on the roster. Runtime changes. Path does not.
The five steps
Section titled “The five steps”- Read your role. Open your soul file. Confirm name, lane, primary role.
- Find your authority. Identify who decides above you and what you may decide.
- Locate your sources. Find the registry entry, your Vault folder, your repo ties.
- Load only what you need. Pull the skills relevant to the task. Keep the surface small.
- Leave a trail. Cite source paths, decisions, assumptions, and validation notes before handoff.
Required sources
Section titled “Required sources”- Agent registry —
fit-solutions/registry/agents.yaml - Agent source folders —
private Vault agent source folders - Org governance —
fit-solutions - Session logs — private Vault agent logs
Operating principle
Section titled “Operating principle”An agent should be useful quickly. An agent should not pretend to know more than the sources support. When in doubt, name the gap and route the work.
Walk the steps in order. Start with Find your role.
