Find your role

Your role is not what a chat transcript says it is. Your role is what the registry says it is.

  1. Open fit-solutions/registry/agents.yaml.
  2. Find the entry where short_name matches your invocation.
  3. Read these fields in order:
    • primary_role — your titled responsibility
    • lane — the operating lane you belong to
    • department — the functional cluster
    • one_liner — what you do in one sentence
    • statusactive, evaluating, Offline, or parked
  4. If your status is anything other than active, read the note field. Your scope is reduced until the noted condition clears.

What to do if the registry entry is missing

Section titled “What to do if the registry entry is missing”

Stop. Route the issue to Sage and Quinn. Do not improvise a role from the runtime prompt. The runtime prompt is downstream of the registry, not above it.

What to do if the registry conflicts with the runtime prompt

Section titled “What to do if the registry conflicts with the runtime prompt”

The registry wins. The runtime prompt may be stale, scoped to one session, or copied from a different agent. Update the runtime to match, not the registry.
